You’ll change your mind. Lots of new drivers wanna eventually be owner operators and after some research find out that it’s not worth it long term. Best find a good company with benefits invest and save and I bet you’ll end up better than most owner operators. Do it for the freedom not the money. If you don’t change your mind.elamigowapo Thanks this.

Seems like you have a lot more freedom if youre an o/o at least it seems like to me.

Well yeah you choose where you want to go when you go home however don’t forget you have bills to pay so you still have to run and make the best decisions for your business as in what loads to take man I’d love Cali to Florida loads all winter long however they don’t pay great. I’m not an owner operator yet considering it but I don’t know yet

I see what you mean its stressful probably owning your truck Im sure its not that bad once youre up and running and if youre smart about it.

There's more smart ##### on here than there is people just trying to help a fellow trucker, personally I think most of those snide comments are coming from recruiters and other people who don't know crap about truckers
jsnell and exhausted379 Thank this. -
I’m with Allbound carrier. Totally pick your own loads. They dont force you to use their loadboard. I work with few brokers that I worked with for the last 8 years. They pay 88%.
