Thanks. I spoke with one driver there now. Their pay and benefits are not too good. The work is what I like, but they can sit and wait sometimes even when there are loads available.

Finding out if they are part of the same group that controls ATS has been difficult. Information online is now hard to find. I have been told ATS sold controling interest of the open deck division to an investment group in 2012 (not telling any of us drivers). A figurehead CEO is now in place. As drivers find out all the negative things that are happening there (including watching their paychecks shrink), they are quitting, as I did recently.
ATS Specialized and the other open deck companies they own may be part of that group buying open deck companies to form one huge group, to be the largest open deck carrier in North America. -
No pay for orientation doesn't mean they won't get you there.
-
I believe that ATS owns Valley. or valley is a division of them. I know they are connected some how.
-
Doesn't ATS own Keen, or is it the other way around? Or maybe it's warren. Crap. I'm out of the loop.
-
ats was working on buying into keen when i worked for ats in late 2005. that i no for sure. there used to be a company news letter back then.(not sure about now) but that was an article in it when work there.

Maybe Daseke Inc. bought them. They've been buying up flatbed companies. Boyd Bros. not too long ago.
Daseke bought these companies already:

As far as I know and have heard since I started with Valley in February, Valley is in no way related to or part of ATS. Closest thing would be getting brokered loads from ATS.
Battle Born and pusherman Thank this.
