I'm based out of Minnesota and I've been wanting to get my CDL for a very long time but i just cant afford to pay out of pocket for schooling. I'm willing to relocate but wanting to stay in the midwest if at all possible. Once my CDL is achieved i want to do OTR all 48.
I just really have no clue where to really start, all I know is to avoid Werner at all costs and that Swift isnt much better. I found Wilson Logistics but I want to know what other options I may have.
Looking for CDL schools that pay for training.

You should look for a community college close to you. They are a whole lot cheaper than private schools and you can apply for a Pell grant which pay the whole or most of the tuition

Wilson is off the list, I've only had my license back from a suspension for about 6 months.

Some local outfits will help you get your cdl. Which town are you in or near?
That license suspension is a killer for about a year.
In the meantime attend a private or community college cdl school or go with a company that trains locally and stick with it for a few months. -
