Trucker friendly GPS, an online search, good old fashioned maps, calling ahead, a combination of these or what else if anything? I am leaning towards a combination of the above.

I have been out of OTR driving for so long that I have become a lot more tech savvy since then and think at a minmum a trucker friendly GPS and internet acess with a printer onboard the tractor could work for me most of the time. Anything else seems like a bad idea for me personally.

I literally have not worked more than an overnight out and back run in more than year so I was able to get my information either from home or at the office before leaving everytime. Is a tech savvy method the way to go for OTR now?
