I had one ask if I was parked in a space or the fuel island. I replied that it was sad they even had to ask that. She told me one driver said he was but would be out in 10 minutes. She said she told him the wrecker service they called was across the street and he can have your truck hooked up in 5 minutes. Do you still want the shower? Driver left to go park his truck.

There ya go. Problem solved. More truck stops need to take this problem seriously, very seriously. THEY are losing money in fuel costs when trucks can't fuel up and wind up leaving. And the drivers are losing money by wasting time waiting for these inconsiderate fools. Everyone loses except the inconsiderate fool.

I've seen the car weighing before. Usually around military bases. Not sure why, maybe they're being transferred and need a certified weight to ship their vehicle.

I hope you at least gave her a thumbs up or a standing ovation for that. More truck stops need to do that, it's not like they are hurting for business.

By the way on 77 in SC Ex 77 they are throwing up a QT right beside a Wilco Hess. Ill be interested to see if they have truck parking and showers to run Wilco off who would not sell out to them.

Yes from my understanding all new QT truck stops will have truck parking and showers.

I drove a concrete truck right down the road from here which is why I know they wouldn't sell out to them etc.

QT is now trying to expand in Florida. I HATE to see all the independent mom and pops convenience stores going under due to this corporation.

All due respect, I like the mom and pops, and I spend money there when I can. They are usually dumps. Crummy showers, crummy heads, generally dumps.

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.
