I have a Love's truck stop near me - are you allowed to park there unattended as long as you want or are there restrictions on how long you can have your rig parked?
If your running under your own authority & don't have parking at your house or hoa, this would be a nice alternative.

Ask the manager. Of course, he's going to tell you no. If you're asking someone here, then sure, go for it. Good luck! I know O/O's that park at truck stops and have for years. Depends on who you know or who you are good at avoiding. I never would. I don't like to park at truck stops for 5 minutes. You're exponentially subjecting yourself to getting hit, robbed, nauseated by the smell of piss, smothered by the vagrants smoking at the door, asked for money by the same and much more. Truck stops are nice places......for fuel.

No Loves won’t allow that. Not to mention you’ll pull in after 7pm and have nowhere to park. Someone in your area will have truck parking for rent. Usually about $100 dollars per month and you’ll get your own reserved spot inside a secure gated facility. Best part is that you can come in whenever you want and you know you’ll have a spot.
As for finding a spot yourself, once you park, you’ll have five other trucks doing the same and property owners don’t usually like that.brian991219 Thanks this. -
Find an abandoned mall.
Overnite? Lots of places if you leave before dawn.
Start with Google Earth of your ‘hood, see what’s around.
GIS is geographic information systems, used by cities and states. If you find a promising spot, there is a city office (Recorder?) that can ID the owner. Don’t expect a phone number or email address. -

Don’t trust the asphalt when you dolly down, carry a pair of three foot lengths of 6x6 lumber for the landing gear.
Unless you have xray eyes.
Buy a six footer at Lowe’s, pay 50 cents for the cut, or use a chainsaw etc.RussianBearTruckeR Thanks this. -
Actually, you should be OK parking there several days.....this is because truck stop employees rarely venture outside. They only stay inside the protected air conditioned confines of the establishment. If they did venture outside, they would see all the trucks parked in red zones, all the working girls strolling the back row, trucks parked on the fuel island for an hour, trucks double parked etc. So they will not notice a certain truck that hasn't moved for several days, I'm sure !

Its not allowed.
I'm just sayin'. If something happens & they find that its just parked there..... you may come back & its towed. Lets say somebody bumps you & they have the fuel desk page the driver of that truck... again.... & again... & again.... Nobody shows up. The mgr is likely to get involved &...
well you see where this is going.Trucker61016 Thanks this. -
I just recently found truck parking at a boat storage facility.. only $50 bucks a month because they haven’t discovered the gold mine that is truck parking or they probaly kick out the boats.. lol I store my bass boat there to and leave my pickup there all week.. something to look into.. I wouldn’t trust leaving my truck at a truck stop all weekend, this industry is full of dip sheets and have no respect for their companies equipment much less mine.. good luck, parking is tough these days
