i noticed Loves has a soft 50 foot faux rubber hose kit.
It feels way lighter than a real rubber hose and they say it's pliable in cold temps.
Has anyone tried one?

tucker Thanks this.

I have had one for over a year, unrolls and rolls up easily in in freezing temperatures. No regrets buying it.

Yes, they are usually brightly colored, dayglowish yellow or orange.
No problems with cold temps.tucker Thanks this. -
You can buy the red hose but don't expect it to roll back up in cold temps until you hear it back up in the truck. That's what I do, I've never used the newer style.

I got one as well only had to use it once over the course of 2 years of having it. No issues so far but again I've only used it once

Yes,.. I have had mine for roughly 4 yrs now. I had to replace the air chuck as the pin got stuck. But the hose itself has been flawless. Much much better than the hard red hose. Rolls up easily,. cold or warm weather. I use mine on a weekly basis. I am anal about keeping proper air pressure in my tires.

Somebody is a millionaire...thought up the idea of taking a common air hose you can buy anywhere, putting an air chuck on one end that you can buy anywhere, and a glad hand on the other end available anywhere truck parts are sold...and then market it to truckers for double the price of buying the individual pieces and assembling them yourself...and truckers think they're getting a bargain. Simply amazing. I wish I'd thought of that...but they were already available by the time I started driving. And yes, I made my own. Plugs into a quick-connect on my air tank instead of a glad hand, and the tire chuck locks onto the valve stem. That and it's actually a rubber hose.
The one problem I've had with flexzilla hoses are the aluminum fittings on the ends...easy to crack. Other than that, they stay as flexible as rubber in cold temps and are light weight like the PVC. I prefer the rubber, though, with brass fittings.Hurst Thanks this.
