1st time I've seen them use one of these to jack up a trailer to change a tire.

It looks like a big pain in ### just to move around the shop.

They will still find a way to take two hours to change a tire. Then of course another half hour to bill you out.

Actually, it handled easier than a manual pallet jack. I wonder how many times they'll flip it turning a corner too fast in a rush to fix a tire...my guess 0...since they are only in a rush to leave once they clock out.

    Kyle G. Thanks this.

A company I worked for used those as a portable four point lift, so to speak, for putting tractors in the air.

    Let me guess....
    LOVE'S truckstop #473, Texarkana , AR

This is how they did my drive slow leak repair. Instead of taking tire out and patch it from inside they drilled 1/2 inch hole in tire to put mushroom plug.
A few days ago asked about this picture Love's manager in GA. He was laughing as hell then call all his guys to show them what he said top stupidity.
Love's wants to start doing PM service but they don't have pit to go under truck. Those jacks are to lift truck to drain oil.
    WARNING
After such weird tire repair truck lost alignment

I don't know who is coming up with this "improvement", but in the hands of the poorly paid and trained personnel they have, damage to the vehicle and someone really getting hurt is likely.
Kind of like those idiot oil change fittings that Speedco tried installing on everything that were an abysmal failure and discontinued.

Same with our company. They lift the whole car carrier... Truck and trailer. Good tool when used properly...
