It'll keep getting risky when you work up u,till the last miutet on your hours.Depending where your at you may need to start looking for a place sooner then your last hr of driving..

 

If he makes it there only two hours late and without wrecking, he might be driver of the month
They'll probably make him a trainer

It's amazing how easily an airline can be cut or broke

If your not allowed to split sleeper at swift, can't park where ya want, and can't fuel where ya want..... then I have one question.

What in the hell are you allowed to do on your own free will at swift? Like ####, you can't even use a split sleeper provided in the complete regs of your HOS. How is that even fair.

 

You can crash into a bridge and kill yourself anytime. (Edit: not you personally, I mean you as in a "swift driver")

 

The elog mandate for all trucks will be here in December of 2017. Only way you'll still be able to run paper is if you're an O/O with a 1999 or older truck.

Regarding finding a creative parking spot at a truck stop, some big chains actually pay a security guard to patrol the lot in a golf cart and harass drivers who are parked anywhere but a designated spot.

 

That's rediculous. However my retirement is 7 months away. Also I am finishing up with a off road gig. Too bad trucking has turned into this.
