Enjoyed meeting @WalterSobchak tonight and speaking with @radioshark, one of the nicer aspects of working at Magnum is being someplace small enough to get to know other drivers in the fleet.

 

Yep, that's the place. He said I have to be there by noon, but no specific time, pick up number or even a delivery day/time. Told Ashley to set me up for Monday either way. I've turned 3750 hub miles in 7 days, and I am about 30 min short of having enough time to make CR by Saturday, so I guess I'll do a restart enroute so I don't have to play recap bingo to get home. The last three days I have been pushing it right up to the limit in order to make this delivery on time...plus a split break today so that I complete the '2' part of my break while they're unloading me. Knowing my luck, when I need at least 2 hours to get unloaded, they'll probably have me done in 30 minutes.

I did manage to beat Magnum's paid miles on this run, by 20. And of the last 2 runs, my hub miles are only over the paid miles by around 100...

*Update...honestly, I was just being sarcastically funny about a quick unload, I never imagined it would come true, but...it was close. McLanes in Memphis, from bumping the dock to paperwork in hand...47 minutes...and a friendly person in the receiving office to boot. Why can't more places be like this?

 

Lots of good places on the Avenue of the Saints to take a 34 between St Louis and the cities.

 

It was a pleasure finally meeting up with you, even if for only 10 minutes. Hopefully we will cross paths again and it not take 6 months.

I'm glad I wasn't feeling overachiever this morning by being in Gaylord at 03:15. I rolled in around 6:30, got the obligatory washout, rolled over to Michaels and saw 2 Magnum trailers in doors. Of course one was mine and they were running behind. Just got my paperwork about 20 minutes ago. Headed to US Foods in Zebulon Monday am, then hometime until at least Saturday. My mom is getting her hip replaced so I want to be in town to help out some because that's what a son who was a privalege to raise and is awesome as me does.

 

I'm in love with the short girl with dirty blonde hair. I'm like @Pigbacon at a fancy restaurant when I go there. Eye candy all over the office.

 

Dropped off @ McClane in Hebron KY this am. 1st time there. I missed the check in at the gate sign. Needless to say, I had to reenter the place. Picked up @ Campbells just now headed to Hopkins MN. Decided to treat myself to a blue parrot 350. Hope it's the last bt I ever buy. Have a productive day & be safe ....

 

@tucker I'm going thru Omaha and Lincoln today. Since you wont come work with us at Magnum, think I'll stop in at Crete and get a job!

 

I'm not sure if you have enough driving experience yet,they might put you out with a trainer

 

I'm pretty certain I have plenty
