The truck stops

 

Picked up in Barron Wi after dropping and hooking in Eau Clair.
Stopped by Fargo to get a nail out of one of my drives. The Shop decieded to replace all 8 drives since they were getting pretty worn out.
They also did a PMA, APU service, Air Dryer Service, Yearly Service, and DOT Inspection. They got my truck at 1330 and were done and out the door by 1730.
Left this morning to continue my trip to Pacific Wash.
Deliver at o'dawn30 in Pacific Wa, and then deadhead over to Caldwell Idaho with a load going to Atlanta GA.
Not too shabby!!

Finally getting some detention money!!!!

Today is a down day anyway so I have nothing to do but wait. So yes I consider it extra money!

Showed up at my delivery at US Cold in dfw at 0630 for an 0800 appt. Check in and I'm told my appt is at 1800. I told him that wasn't correct but you know whos number they went with.

Call Matt and tell him they won't unload me until 1800. He finds the email for the delivery and it is definitely set for 0800.

After talking to them and telling them they scheduled the appt for 0800 they told him it was a typo.

Matt said I'm sorry Sir, base your detention off of 0800. I said you don't have to apologize I will be happy to get paid detention. They have clean porcelain here and I have food!

They opened my doors at about 1810 and I got my paperwork and pulled out by 1915. 9hrs and 15 min of detention baby!!!!

I was 2 hrs and 45 min late for my pickup, but Matt had already told them I wouldnt be on time.

Sitting in the door now. No plans to leave until the morning. So come on baby hit me with some more detention!!

 

Believe it or not, when I was headed out west last Friday, I hit snow between Cheyenne and Laramie. It was enough to cover the ground and make it white. They also had the snow plows out working the roads.
