Ok, I gotta vent a little bit. @supersnackbar - pay attention; a cult-member complaining. I keep having problems with Ashley! A while back she owed me a layover day. I emailed her about it & got no response. I emailed her a few days later, (she always recommends emailing her rather than calling) about it & she got short in her response, so I did the same in mine. A little later the layover was posted.
A few weeks ago she sent me on a 2 drop in Auburn, IN and Shelbyville, IN. The pay showed the 2nd drop in Fountaintown rather than Shelbyville - about 13 miles less. Even though it cost me 13 miles loaded AND 13 miles empty headed to my next load, I wasn't upset about the money. However, I didn't want that 26 miles to cost me when the mileage average is calculated for performance pay later, so I emailed her about it. No response. She called about another load later and I asked about it. She said, basically, that's just the way it is and nothing can be done. I knew that didn't make sense, as I had made that run before & Shelbyville is what showed up on my pay. So, I asked to speak to Chad, and before she transferred me she told me he wouldn't be able to do anything either. Chad agreed with me, and made the necessary changes, though he didn't know why it got mixed up to begin with. Chad said something about it not going on the current paycheck due to being reported so late, and I mentioned that I had originally emailed Ashley about it 2 weeks prior, and mentioned that I understood that communication was paramount here, but hadn't experience good communication from Ashley.
Finally, when Ashley offered my last load, she noted that there was 24 hours between 2 deliveries that were only 8 miles apart. She told me she would include a layover day for that. As it turned out, I got to the first delivery early enough I got in a 34hr restart. I emailed her and asked for a 2nd layover day for that. Of course, I got no response. I emailed a 2nd time a few days later, this time also pointing out there was a double entry for detention (money I hadn't earned), and I was lacking the empty miles on that trip. Days later, no response. I sent a 3rd email earlier today (Sunday) - and I realize she was off Friday. She responded today, saying she had already given me one layover day. I replied saying I had acknowledged that one layover day, but was asking for a second layover day, and explained. I also mentioned the other 2 discrepancies. She hasn't replied, nor do I expect her to since it's Sunday.
Anyone else having these types of problems? When I get a load, I run hard to get there early. If layover is called for, I expect to receive it. I don't like having to be a hawk to make sure my pay is right, and I ###### sure don't like having to make multiple calls and or write several emails to have a discrepancy straightened out.
Ok, I'm through venting now. Altogether now, cult brothers & sisters, Kum-ba-ya....tucker Thanks this. -

How Ashley still has a job there is beyond me. She's just a flat out C word.

I've never had much of an issue with Ashley. I have had corrections in mileages before, but I've always been referred to Chad. As for stuff appearing and disappearing on the drill down, mine does it all the time. I wait until it doesn't show on my paycheck before I say anything. I have checked the night before the pay is deposited, and it's not there, but then when I call Chad the next morning, it is there, and he is wondering why I called. Most of the issues have been popping up since the update. As for location changes on the drill down, it usually updates to your gps location. Sometimes it gives me more than expected sometimes less. And I have even had miles shown for going from one side of a city to the other.

I'm back in the truck after 6 days off. (Did you notice I was gone?) My mom has a new hip. She still needs help standing up and is using a walker but she is doing a lot better than she was just a few days ago. She is undeniably the family matriarch and has spent most of her life taking care of everyone else. Im glad I was able to be there last week and help out where I could. I know shes in good hands with my dad and my sisters until she recovers.
I hate I missed the apparent meme day. Here's one that might only be funny if you've seen Napoleon Dynamite, but Im posting it anyway.
cdavis188, scottlav46, truckerman75103 and 9 others Thank this.
