That was me in 1517, I think you got lucky at the Walmart, I ended up being there for 4 hours.

 

Must have been an older sticker, they have ruled that NY's HUT taxation was unconstitutional, and they have to refund it, with interest.

 

Well, my load got interesting. I picked up coffee beans from a bean roasting facility. Now, I love the smell of fresh ground or fresh brewed coffee, but the smell of fresh roasted coffee beans stink like a stale BBQ pit. They ended up taking until almost 1400 to finish loading me, which put me in a pinch on my 14, so I waited until I shut down to do my "loaded" call to the broker. My Peoplenet said the load delivers at 9 a.m. Wed in WI...the broker says 3 a.m. Wed. which aint gonna happen. I ended up shutting down in Prescott AR with 17 minutes on my 14 and it's just under 1000 miles to deliver. Told them when I was "suppose" to be there and he tried to contact his CSR about changing it, but after being on hold for 10-15 min, he said call back. The broker is in mid-merger mode and they are a bit disorganized right now. (Command Transport is becoming Echo Global Logistics), so my actual pta is up in the air right now...and with Brent filling in for Joey thru tomorrow, I know it's useless to call or write him to keep him in the loop as to the confusion so I don't get in a pinch for any reload. And of course, Matt went home early before I could get him a message, so...I am in a holding pattern right now. But, I'm following Guru @Pigbacon's style of handling this..."think positive and it will end positive"

 

There's always the option of getting mad and breaking something... But that usually ends badly!!

The Broker needs to get real, that's a great run and get there as soon as you can and give them a realistic eta. Some of these Brokers need to remember trucks don't run 80 mph down the highway lol.

Yeah I love the way that place smells, makes me want to go grab a dark roast.
