Keepin busy! I'm on a 3-day load from Minneapolis to Seattle with 2 drops and picking up that same day for a 4 day load delivering in Chicago. Big miles!

 

It's soup the internet says so.

 

What sucks is drivers fill up that truck stop and don't walk downtown and then I can't get parking there and have to settle for the Petro.

 

Sorry, they have Wild Turkey and the place is empty

Loaded up at Lakeville Friday night and it was a total madhouse. Trucks EVERYWHERE. Literally 20 trucks waiting for a dock, 6 people jammed into the 4 parking spaces, 4-6 trucks waiting on paperwork near the office.

I wound up sitting there for over 9 hours.

According to one of the dock guys, they were trying to move 2 weeks worth of Jenni-O stuff in 4 days.

I said: "Um, you guys weren't exactly quick on a REGULAR schedule..." He replied, Yes, I know. They're paying 40 companies $700 each in detention and I'm not seeing how that works out, but what ya gonna do?"

 

Picked up in Lakeville, Mn and delivered to Walmart DC in Cheyenne, Wy (actually in and out within 2.5hrs) and they've got me dead heading to Caldwell, Id and deliver to Grand Forks this week.
