Fleet efficiency would be utilization rate. i.e. not leaving you sit. Has been discussed before.

More bodies has been what I've been asking for in dispatch, hopefully this will help, not hurt.
It works "pretty good" now, but it could be a LOT more efficient without making drivers' lives more difficult. The dispatchers we have now simply don't have TIME to make it more efficient. And overall, I think we have a pretty good team, just more stuff to do than they have time for.JoeB, DustMyBroom and ncmickey Thank this. -
Got up in Alexandria, MN very early this morning. Made it to my first stop in Bismarck, ND at 0800, drove to Minot for the second, Williston for the third and Watford City for my fourth.... made it to Grassy Butte to a truck stop with ONE minute left on my 14 and 11...LOL!!! 620 miles the hard way...
Deliver my fifth stop in the AM in Dickinson, ND
Pick up a load in Jamestown and bring it to Fargo and drop it. Picking up a load for myself in the yard going to Columbia SC....
Will wait out the blizzard in Fargo till the roads are clear on Saturday.tucker Thanks this. -
Of course it's usually just dumb luck or being someplace I know every nook and cranny I can park in. Normally, even in a full-driving day, if I can get down to 30 mins on my 11 I figure I've done well. I've never gone over my clock with Magnum, but I've been hair-raisingly close a few times where plain old dumb-luck saved me.

I have the same issue tomorrow: 0600 delivery in Hopkins, mn, with a 2145 pick up in gaylord.
One thing I will point out that is vastly better than my old company is ridiculous empty moves to get reloaded. We are talking get empty in moline, then reload in Gary. Or Joliet empty at 1500 friday, with a reload scheduled in Racine for 1800. Munster to university park at 0200 is a hayride by comparison. -
Lol loads aren't perfect no company really is but I'm averaging around 11,400 ytd so not complaining to much here...yeah would like to be able to do it with a little less planning on my part, but hey that's where the fun is lol...
Bumper Thanks this. -
Part of it is being from WA, so my hometime loads result in crappy miles the week before so they can get me home, followed by an extra 2-4 days sitting because they have no freight for the backhaul.
Matt does his best, but he's busy enough WITHOUT the WA freight. I only go home about once a month, but that stuff adds up.
I'm averaging about 10k per month, which is not bad. And once i get out of WA, I'm hopping, as busy as I could possibly ask for mostly. Magnum does 99% of everything as "Right" as I could possibly ask for. But like ants at a picnic... it's the small stuff that makes you crazy.DustMyBroom Thanks this. -
I was going to post earlier taking bets on who was going to message us about going home early this week, but Nick beat me to it. They need to hire 3 or 4 so that way when half of them decide to leave early and not come back for days, there are enough people in the office to handle the workload without having to overload the others with their duties. I don't think I have ever worked for a company where half of the operations department just up and leaves.

I'd rather see more pay or as you have so often requested a flatter pay scale. That don't come with more office staff and brother as long as they don't route manage me I'm not going to nit pick when they go home...ncmickey Thanks this. -
One more penny.iraqralph43 and 4mer trucker Thank this.
