Magnum ltd - fargo, nd

I tried to leave the 2nd, but the joy of living in FL meant that I had to wait until the 4th to get a load. It's the slower freight season in Florida.(Florida only has 3 freight season slow, slower and don't even think about it)

 

So on the 13th I sat @ Coon Rapids for 13 hours while they tried to fix my apu. This was the 8th time I've been down because of this thing since April of 2015.
After 13 hours they had me pull out. It's still not working though. So I guess next it's back to Thermo King. (Will be the 3rd time there)
Picked up a 2 drop load @ St.Cloud cold storage headed for Texas. Took 9 hours. Which of course caused me to be late at my first drop, run out of time at my 2nd drop, and miss my reload.
Dispatch got it all sorted, so we thought. Get to my pick up @ Lineage Logistics in Ft. Worth and check in.
Someone dropped the ball and it WAS rescheduled. For Sunday. They work me in though. Only took 5 hours and cost $120.00.
This has not been a good run so far.

 

Lineage is where Coyote gave me the wrong pu number a couple weeks ago, although once I got it sorted out, they loaded fairly quickly. I had a mixup at their neighbor's part of the warehouse this week. After I delivered in Grand Prairie, they sent me to Tyson with a 9-1600 window to pick up. (Which they don't do windows, only set appointments). Turns out I had a 9 am (which was 2 hours before my Grand Prairie delivery appt.) Fortunately they weren't too busy and loaded me without issue or late fee.

 

No… Must be you…I came back to work on the third and I have about 7500 already also… Or I will tomorrow evening… With a run to Texas and then North Carolina for a Home time on the 25th or 26th that's not included in that plus deadhead miles… Having a great month

 

So I guess it's SOSDD for me, I won't have 7500 after my next 2 loads...only reassures me that my decision to leave is the right thing to do.

 

Its Jan ... its usually slow this time of year
I have roughly 4200 at ' the other place '
so far this month ...slowness + the new load schedule
= life even more difficult

 

At previous companies, January was usually one of my better months...December and June were my worst.

 

For what it's worth I have approx 8500 in w/o deadhead...Jan has been good to me for the last two years...

 

Does the local driver work Saturdays in Coon Rapids?

 

Coke in Columbus...2 hours after my appointment and I finally get a door. 3 hours after my appointment now and I am locked to the dock, but nothing is getting loaded. I thought I read good things about this place, or did I just come on a bad day?
