Count your blessings.
Sat in Boise for a day due to weather in the Blue Mountains. Ran it the next day in freezing fog. Sat for two more days in Tacoma because we missed last delivery window at Sysco.
On the way back to Jamestown now. And we just might miss that one. Good wreck up on Lookout, six in the ditch as we came into Butte. Roads are crap, snowing hard, and wind is picking up.Last edited: Jan 31, 2017

I agree with @Oor - count your blessings. I made it out west just fine. Woke up this morning in Pendleton, OR to a bunch of snow & chain laws in effect. I'm a rookie at this driving stuff, and have never chained a truck. The chains were only required about 10 miles over Cabbage, so I figured once I make it past that, I'm good. I paid somebody from a "chain crew" $40 to put 6 sets of chains on, and watched so I'd know how in the future. I got over Cabbage & took the chains off as soon as we were allowed. About 15 miles later the chains were mandatory again. After putting them on myself, I realized that $40 wasn't a bad price. That's some work! Took me about 6 hours to go 150 miles. Parked in Boise now, hoping I can get to Memphis without anymore bad roads.
