Should average around 2500/week. I don't know your pay rate do do the math. I have never missed a requested time at home on the date I requested. How often depends on where you live and when ask for it. Refer is easy turn it on set temp and go.

I believe it was 6 months at 36c then i move to 40 cpm with performance based bonuses?? That part is a little confusing? So the average is 2500 mile a week is that hard to achieve with reefer? How are the benefits? Sorry for all the questions this is my first company and im hoping im picking a good one. Im excited to get the career change started.

    Didn't @Zata40 train here?

As for learning how to run a reefer...well, it's so simple, this guy could do it

Magnum would be a great choice starting out. Where do you live?
Read through the thread... LOTS of good info here. The benifits are good. Heath care is a bit expensive but that has to do with the company being based in ND. But it is relative. One driver will say they are good and another will say it's too expensive. All depends on coverage that you choose. Tony can get you more info on that.
2500 is pretty easily obtained. 3000+ are common once you learn our routes and reload customers. Hometime is whenever you want with 10 days notice. If you stay out 2 weeks, you can take 2-3 days off. If you stay out 3 weeks you can take more. I go home every 3 weeks or so and take off around 5-6 days average.

Stayed in Knoxville last night. Walked to a nearby Resturant and watched the Duke/Carolina game on the tv. Got up and was going to drive to my delivery in Denmark, SC. I noticed that I had a nail in my trailer tire during pretrip. It was holding air good with the auto inflation system but did have a slight hiss. I drove down to SC and stopped at the Loves in Newberry, SC to get the tire patched. Was going to be real early... so it seemed like a good time to do it.....
so the tire repair took about 2 1/2 hrs to get done. Had two trucks ahead of me. Got back on the road and 1 (one!!!) mother ####in mile down the road I blew a brake chamber on the tractor. ... just got it to the side of the road.
Roadside came out and got it so I could roll again. They disabled the bad brake chamber and I drove back to the Loves...
Here I sit waiting for it to get fixed.....
Will probably just stay here and drive the last 80 miles in the morning... as my 14 is ticking towards 0000
Sucks... but at least I am not stuck on the shoulder....

We have several Ga drivers on here. @radioshark is one of them.
Almost all the trucks are 2015 and newer. Just a few 2014s left in the fleet. The trainer trucks are 2016 10 speed manuals. All the 2017 trucks are autos. The new 18's are rumored to be all autos also.
Training is you driving and the trainer in the passenger seat. Yes, you both sleep in the truck.

Anybody who reads this thread and is living in FL, we got a msg from recruiting saying NO MORE FL drivers.

I guess I am doing them a favor by leaving.
