With my years, they start at .40, with pay raises every 6 months, and they pay performance bonuses on top of that like it should be done, every month. Plus they pay extra for short haul, paid holidays, faster trucks and I get better miles and would get home without having to stay out 6-8 weeks. And the best part...no cold storage places..Oh and NO Paccar powered Peterbilts.

I had issues with the Cummins powered Prostar at Poly too...not a big selling point for me, which is why I am not there already.

Don't they run mostly Paccar T680s? I may have to look into them again when I'm ready to go back company in October.

With your luck you'll get a Paccar powered Kenworth...though it will be faster lol.

They use the Cummins engine. As long as the KW electrical systems are better than the Navistar, a Cummins won't be bad. A lot of the issues I had at Poly with the Cummins powered truck were with the A/C, the DPF and a known oil filter plugging issue that Cummins could fix, but Poly felt chaging the oil filter every 10k miles was enough. Not all of their Cummins had the problem, just enough of them to make it a gamble when picking a different truck when yours was in the shop. And, I also had wheel seal issues on the diffs. Had all 4 replaced in 9 months, and 2 more were starting to leak when I traded trucks. Not real sure why they kept going out, they used the same Dana rears that just about every other manufacturer uses, Poly's Prostars just seemed to have leaking issues. Maybe it was the super single setup they used.
