Do you guys have some sort of daily
DVIR you perform on your E Logs ?
Poly has been attempting for almost
5 months now to get their system up
and running , they have had very limited
success.... it's always ' back to the drawing
board ' with these folk

 

There's a simple DVIR form we fill out at the end of the day on PeopleNet. Name, Trailer#, Trailer Hub, Defects Found (with drop down lists for truck/trailer).

 

6.5 hours and counting
Update 8 hours and counting
Update #2 they have gone home

 

DOT no longer requires a DVIR if there are no defects. It was part of the paper work reduction act.

####... I got out of Sisco with 2 hrs detention...

 

And now we have issues with expiration dates so more waiting on approval. Will not make my pickup now

 

In and out of Kroger in Deleware, OH in 2.25 hrs...now waiting patiently at the Wally D/C in Wintersville OH for the remaining 3 pallets to be removed. Then off to Napoleon again to pu a Hopkins load....geeez those Twin Cities folks like Campbell's soup...

And just a side note...Wally charged me the same amount to pull 3 pallets as they have charged me to unload an entire trailer...but honestly, they're still cheaper than most outside warehouses.

 

I passed thru Delaware earlier today.

If you're ever here, do yourself a favor and take the short walk over to Wellingtons Fine BBQ. Little food truck type place, outstanding food.

 

Guess I'm parked in the door tor the night here in Lewisville still no paperwork 13 hours and counting. They have one less door to load their trucks & unload till I get my paperwork
