Honestly, in the 5 weeks I've been over here, I don't think I have 6 hours of unload time...total...vans are so much cheaper, a company can have a lot more equipment to do drop/hooks.

I've had a brake chamber replaced on my first PM with that truck.

Those of you worried about the DOT blitz. A couple of things to help you out.
1.Have a clean truck and clean windows (get the bugs off)
    2. Keep your dash clear
    3. If you shave be clean shaven
    4. Dress nicely (if you wear t-shirts make sure they are appropriate)
    5. Speak politely yes sir yes mam( this will go long way)
    6. Make it easy on them have permits organized and bills handy.
    7. Don't have anything obvious like lights out or bald tires.
This will reduce your chances of being inspected but if it's your time it's your time. And remember they do have discretion and give them a reason to use it to your favor.

    Xeres63 and Rock6531 Thank this.

Ok shaving is maybe just a bit over the top lol, the dash is a good idea though, man some of the Magnum trucks...

Appearance does makes a difference. That's the first thing they have to judge you on. If you don't take care of yourself what are they going to think about how you maintain your truck.

Well this year I reserved myself a nice 17 trailer to compliment the 17 truck so I'm just going to go about my week and enjoy life as always. I tend to not worry as much given our CSA score and hey if I get a level 1, well that's another dinner paid for by Magnum :).

I once saw guy delivering in a suit and tie. He said he did it everywhere he picked up and delivered. Said he was almost always treated much better than the other drivers there.
