I've stayed at the one down on I-40 at exit 312. Nice spot, within range.

Where did you park? Way out front?

The Walmart in Clayton, 5.5 miles away is truck friendly. I see them parked there all the time. I live in Clayton.

Not sure when you will arrive but Anthony's Pizza in the out parcel is very good. Authentic NY Italian, just like home, for me.

About where the semi is on Google maps, iirc. Depends on what you find when you get there.

Out front, when you turn right at the traffic light in front of Wally you will see Wally on the left and an old strip center to the right with LOTS of parking. They usually park in front of the old strip center

Only reason I won't be doing reefer is because it's a lot of night driving.

I avoid night driving whenever I can, and hardly ever do it. If I am driving at night, it's only because it's a really tight appointment, which I see as a good thing occasionally.

You must have worked at a reefer company with super tight deadlines that don't allow you to spread out your clock as you feel comfortable. I wouldn't be able to maintain a schedule that tight for a long period of time. Yikes!

No, I've driven expedite, which was a lot of log fudging night driving. I've driven thru states, and not remembered them. I've driven thru the town I was supposed to deliver in. I'm lucky that I'm alive; and very lucky that I didn't get into an accident while doing touch n goes.

I know my limitations, and no longer test them. Money just isn't worth it to me. Let's just say that me being a fool wasn't lost on me being a fool.

I *almost* got into expediting. Not with the big trucks though. Just with a box truck/sprinter. I'm glad that didn't work out for me and I eventually regained my interest in driving a real truck lol.
