Years ago you could park on the street nearby. Keep your doors locked. That whole area is crawling with parasites.

They have a large staging area. I'm not sure if they allow overnight parking. I live 10 mikes from there so I park at the house when I go there. It's on the old Fort Gillem. You can park at the Walmart on Anvil Block.

Yes, they moved the DC to an old army base that is now an industrial park. Plenty of safe and secure parking.

Hi guys & gals. First time poster I'm just curious how many miles are you getting consecutively and this is for the guys not wasting time in truck stops ? I'm thinking about joining magnum soon so if anyone wouldn't mind sharing your input I'd really appreciate it.

    mattbh23 Thanks this.

You wanta know what's unfair? Here I have this much faster truck, and I haven't seen one Magnum on my side of the interstate that I can blow the doors off of...all the one's I've seen in the last 7 weeks were going the other way...that sucks, I was soooo looking forward to running circles around some of ya'll (until the next uphill when you would be able to return the gesture.):)

Glad u considering coming on board. I really can't give a good answer because I have only been here almost 6 months, but with miles they keep you moving....usually on the high end for me around 3500 on the low end 2400 a week. Just varies on the driver, freight volume, and hos....

As mattbh23 stated, I usually average 2400- 3500 miles weekly. I've got a #### good truck that hasn't been in the shop and Magnum has kept me running. Hope this helps, I'd recommend that you try and read this whole thread (if you haven't) and get the total picture. Miles are important but there are other things that might sway you to or from Magnum and a lot of those have been discussed on here. Good luck in your decision!

Thx mattbh23,xeres63 I appreciate the information yea I've been driving for over 17 years and I'm definitely not a ham & egger I was just wondering if it's more to the latter of miles ran? I'm currently set for orientation on the 10th of July that way I can finish up my notice,I've had plenty of job offers but the way ncmikey has explained the company has persuaded me to come here,I really don't care about home time considering I'm currently starting on my separation from my wife and I'd rather rack up miles versus idle time.. but nevertheless I'm stoked to be joining you guys..
