@Breezewood trying to sleep. Ever notice how the earlier you need to wake in the morning, the harder it is to get to sleep? Deliver in Elkridge, MD in the am with a possible DH to Winston-Salem after.

 

Apparently I now must also do dispatches job to get home on time.
I was sent from Newport, MN to Aberdeen, MD. Picked up on Monday, delivers tomorrow. (Wednesday night)
Get my next dispatch with 2 picks on Thursday. Going to ND on Monday the 26th. I'm supposed to be home on the 27th.
I call and Jeremy pretty much tells me too bad and that I shouldn't have came to Md and I should have been proactive about getting home.(I live in NC btw so I assumed heading east was good.)
Im sorry. I didnt realize I had to do my job and dispatches.

 

Wow that's crazy.

 

Call Nick. He will make it happen for you. That's still a real doable timeframe... he can either relay something your way for a swap or you can hustle up to Fargo and leave it and have a load ready for you to go home...
Jeremy's last day is Friday... so there's that....

Just a point of info, start reminding those dispatchers a week or 10 days ahead of time when your scheduled for hometime.. With all new dispatchers and the remaining ones covering more than one area they seem to be more about keeping you moving and not about too much planning ahead... should start smoothing out soon...

When I talk to them when planning a load I always tell them when I have hometime and what my clock looks like... they have over 200 puzzle pieces to figure out every day... and I'm just one....

He was actually one of the people I got along with most of the time...every now and then he had to be reminded that not only did I have a bigger johnson..I could also be a bigger johnson if he pushed the right buttons.

They were going to send me out west, good load too. Then I asked what they had to get me back for hometime. Nothing workable, so I ain't going.

If it wasn't for the 4th, probably would have gone though.

 

I know they have a load coming out of ND going to. NC that loaded Friday but could be loaded early. Could have someone pick it up and meet you somewhere. They do that for me all the time.


On my to Dickinson then taking back to Fargo. Tails are all jacked up and they are getting ready to trade it.

Reload Friday to Georgia. They tried to get me to load Thursday. Offered a bunch 600-800 mile loads. Would have only had 7 hours on my 70. I have been running recaps 2 weeks straight now getting up at midnight or split breaking to make loads.
