I meant that someone was going to que in and remind me that I'm not a real trucker, and that they're always hiring burger flippers. LOL

 

I'd take 1am deliveries over standing on my feet all day over a hot grill. Trucking's way easier than flipping burgers.

 

Grand Forks to Florida, reset and back in one week. Just parked at the flying j. 8.6 mpg on the dash and in PeopleNet. Like 3500 miles. #winning.

Oh yeah... delivering first thing in the morning. Then shooting over to park rapids to take another load to Georgia. Not sure what happened to my NC load, but I'm not complaining!

 

95% of the loads have time on them, I am on a 5% load now that had a close appointment time that I need to have rescheduled. Majority you get to appointments 2 hours-30 mins early.

 

Delivered at 8 this morning in grand forks. Pickup is at 1030 in park rapids... 3 hour drive. Not possible. Dispatch told me to give an ETA to pickup after delivery. My ETA i sent to dispatch was 1300. Arrived to park rapids at about 1230. The lady here says "it's not a good day to be you." I'm like "uh.... why is that?" She said "go have a seat in your truck, take a nap if you want, because it's gonna be a while for you." Oh, because I'm late? Yep!

So I guess getting the appointment changed was a no go. I guess I'm a work in. This is the sucky part where the driver gets the short end of the stick even though I did everything right. Oh well.

Update: dispatch said he didn't send them my eta. So he said sorry, ill give you detention if you need it. #ilovemagnum

 

Was the update before or after you reached through the phone to strangle said dispatcher?

 

Lol! Eh... I've got time to make it if they hold me here all day. I have time to make it, but not enough time to rush and squeeze in a reset regardless. So detention is just bonus money on this load. Plus, I've got a reload scheduled right after delivery already.

 

Had to reschedule appointment at Sygma after running out of hours last night, then grabbing a load out of Coke and running that up to Bismarck.

 

Picking up water at the butt crack of down Monday morning delivering Tuesday morning in Brainerd. Then either heading to Denver or Atlanta.

 

So I just checked in here at Sygma, the guy behind the window was saying something about the temperature log sheet with the Cavendish loads, does anyone fill those out?
