Are you or your wife gonna be in the audience? I've have never spoken to strangers, just classmates. I had to take a semister of speech class in high school...having a familiar face to talk to helps with any kind of anxiety or nervousness. I had a good friend that had bad stage fright...told them to just talk to me when they started to get nervous...these other people are just hanging around. Fortunately your daughter has some experience playing music in public, but that's in a group of people...as the only person everyone is watching, especially by a group close to her own age, might get her nervous. So, just talking to you or your wife might help get thru those nervous times.

 

My wife is going with her. When it comes to being in front of people she is fearless. Since early spring she has playing drums in front of large crowds. They are having hemeet with 5-10 kids/teens about overcoming obstacles, not being afraid to fail and reaching for your dreams before she plays. But this will be a little different it will be just her.

Lmao! I'm taking the long way to 8/14 and orientation but IDC is doing what they can. I was to head east out if Denver but no go. Ok, pu Ft Collins and del to Carson City NV where I'm delivering now. Pu about 15 miles south in Minden NV going to San Diego then up to Lancaster CA going to Hazleton PA. Yeah...that gets me east...now will I have the hours to make it by Sun midnight. Oh, and I gotta get a B service (oil change) somewhere along the way. At least they're trying! I may have to split the PA load at Chicago but that's ok... I'm going to need orientation to catch a break! C'ya!

@radioshark i am good, finally got my delivery rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon, still waiting on a new load from Joey....sitting at the house watching the drama unfold on the news.
