Plan change, can't reset cuz local driver is swamped tomorrow, so drop mine at Mills and load Sat at Jamestown for GA. That'll get me thru house to get what Should've gotten before... I see the advantage to getting paid every other week with these mostly long runs...weekend trips like this aren't a problem!

Ok...touch screen lights up when truck is started or power button is pressed and the Peterbilt emblem shows and then goes dark. Touching the screen does nothing. Bad unit? Oh, and my MIL/ats light just came on. Good thing I'm headed for Fargo...

Is the apu we have re-programmable? Or do they all shut off after 4 hours and have to be restarted?
I haven't slept for crap since I got in this truck. Apu works great at first, but like I said, after 4 hours it starts blowing ambient humid air and I have to wake up to start it back up (lucky for me the change in air quality and temp automatically wakes me up -_-) and after that it only stays on for maybe another 2hrs if Im lucky.
Been driving drowsy as F for the past week because of this. I cant sleep with lukewarm unconditioned air. It messes with my sinuses and half the time I wake up with a migrane.
Anyone got any ideas? Can the shop alter the run time of the apu? Or am I just fubar and sol? -
I've never had that problem, hate to sound like Captain Obvious (insert caption here NCmickey!) but have you tried adjusting the temp knob down?

When I was there, 10 hrs was the limit, but would shut everything down and go into standby mode. If the fan is still blowing, but just the apu shuts down, sounds like either the temp sensor (that rubber nipple on the bottom of the controller) or the thermostat is bad. I'd idle the truck if it won't work right, and msg Chad so he doesn't ding ya for excessive idle time until you can get to a shopKnucklehead, Xeres63 and powerstroke67 Thank this. -

Want a good laugh? Today marks my first week as a Magnumite and it has been great! On my fourth load, excellent miles, truck running good (a few bugs but that happens with any truck) and still working on PeopleNet discoveries. Using the transflo app on my paperwork just like they want and when I was looking at notes and package from orientation, I was rudely woken up to a missed step. Previous job didn't require a trip sheet when scanning in paperwork on their app...old habits die hard! It doesn't help knowing that Mark gave us a stack of trip sheets and I'll be darned if I can find them. So, after I do my d&h at Mills Fargo, I get to re-scan my previous loads the right way! The Magnum way!! Live and learn...could be worse...could be headed to the Texas coast. Any of you guys down that way, stay safe...gonna be a rough ride down there for a few days.
