So, I'm in the Boss shop at the FJ Lake Sta and after about an hour or so, the techies discover I have a bad relay. Now they're trying to locate one nearby...they actually have to bring the relay because, they say, it doesn't have a part number etc. Going to be awhile yet. Looks like my weekend fun is going to be cut down by this little delay...

 

There are drivers on here who post similar numbers to me, but they go home more often than I do. I tend to do things kind of casual (in my own opinion) and fly wherever the wind takes me. But since I rarely take home time, it brings my numbers up.

i got my truck fixed and got out of Montana just in time.. i need drive tires bad before winter hits..

 

I picked up on Tuesday at Michael Foods in Gaylord, MN. Had a 1730 appt. Got there a bit early and they said they would live load me. Took till 2230 to get loaded and my clock ran out. Got 3 hrs of detention.
Got up at 0330 on Wednesday and hightailed it to Shelbyville IN. Delivered this morning, Thursday, at 0400 in Shelbyville, IN. Got 2 1/2 hrs detention. Then I had to drive to Louisville KY. Was 45 minutes late. They took me but I got 2 more hrs or detention. Then I had to drive up to Columbus Ohio and pick up a preloaded trailer.... Shut it down for a 10 at my very reliable hidey hole in Columbus Ohio....Long day. But I made $112.50 in detention in one load and I'll still make it easy to my delivery in Fridley MN. on Saturday AM. It's also a drop and hook.
Then I reload Saturday back down in Gaylord on a 3 stopper to NC.....
Finally in a nice rhythm...

I got popped with a random inspection in St.Louis yesterday. All good.
Do I just trans flo it in with the trip?
Do I need to tell anyone?

 

Whats the deal with not being able to edit logs in this company? (thats what they told me at orientation)

I stopped to do a 8 hour sleeper and put it in off duty by mistake. I don't have time to take a full 10.

A problem like this would have never happened where I used to work, where I could edit all non-driving times.

Now I have to drive all night with a violation on my logs until I can call in tomorrow morning to have it changed. I hope I don't get stopped for whatever reason, get my logs checked, and end up with a legal nightmare as a result of this completely avoidable situation.
