Lol, haven't been on in awhile but sent a msg to Chad asking about working over holidays. Yes, they do work but can run into "inefficiencies". That's an honest answer! I'll probably take off between the holidays with a good break over New Year's.

OAN...slow getting loaded at Armada Hub in East Point GA. New building. Google maps made it look like it was the place across the street...and there's no backing out once you turn into FedEx's driveway! Hub does have parking if out of hours after loading. But they are slow! 2.5hrs in a door and not yet started for an 0830 load. Headed to Lewisville TX for OHhhh100 Wed del and then see what Matt O comes up with. Got a reset out of Clarksville to pickup mail so off to the races again. Stay safe, especially out west and NW. It is that time of year! C'ya!

Speaking of "inefficiencies", currently on a slow mosey down to Ft. Worth. Picked at Park Rapids Sunday morning, don't deliver until 1900 Wednesday. Got a day of layover at least, better than a sharp stick in the eye I suppose.

 

Edit: Nevermind. Found a better solution!

 

Ran over thanksgiving my first year here, will never do it again as so many drivers go home that dispatch has a difficult time finding you a good trip...your experience may vary.

Same goes for Christmas, though freight still moves so you should be able to get runs...just be flexible and keep an open mind

Had to stop by the Kum & Go (giggle) and get me some stronger coffee....was in a crabby mood...feeling a lil better.

 

I always wonder why they settled with that horrible name.

But I feel ya with the coffee! Sometimes it can really turn the day around!

 

Yea, between the Kum and Go and the Town Pump... I always wonder what nimrod picked those names......
