That is very true. Read the labels on the bottles. They most generally list the source as a municipal water supply. But still, at least then I know it’s city water. Literally one ice cube made with well water and I’m done for.

Thats fine with me. Ill probably just buy a water filter. Lots of cities are having issues with city water and having unwanteds in it, then there is water that just taste different. Then you kind of have to question the pipes the water travels in. I know where Im from, the water has a chlorine kinda taste to it. At home i run in through a sediment and chlorine filter. Ppm is under 30 afterwards.

 

I have Detroit water at my house too. I drink it straight from the tap. No filters.

 

Youre brave. I havent sent for a water test but drinking from the faucet isnt something I do often. I grew up on kalamazoo water which tatse better, not sure if safer after seeing water companies post some results. Detroit water is very hard with a highish ppm, not necessarily bad depending on whats in it.

 

I’ve been drinking Detroit water since 1987. I’m 46 years old now. It hasn’t killed me yet.

Lol its all fun and games but the flint crisis raised a serious red flag to people. I know for a fact there are areas in kalamazoo that are reporting samples that are contaminated. Maybe its fear mongering, but after all that went down, id rather take some precautions.

 

The meme just reveals that many people don’t realize that dihydrogen monoxide = h2o. It doesn’t suggest anything about dirty water.

Bad, dirty water is different and is a real problem.
