Does magnum reimburse for trailer securement like king ping locks and what not?

 

That’s a very good question, I believe they do so that you may secure it when on home time. I’d buy one and submit the receipt on my next load offer or call Chad and see what he says.

 

I want to ask before buying one. A decent kingpin lock is like $100... ouch when youre making the low cpm like me.

Cheap one would probably do fine. It'll stop someone who is not prepared. If someone really wants to steal the trailer, they will come prepared for anything. As my grandpa would say, a cheap lock will deter an "honest" thief.

 

Why do you need one? Don’t you always leave your truck hooked to your trailer?

 

I do but it would be nice to unhook at times. Maybe increase my food options or maybe there is a walmart a couple miles away. Drop the trailer in a spot and bobtail over. Sure is better than trying to bring a 53 with you lol.

 

You guys are lucky to have that 10 mile buffer to work with. That would be so nice.

 

One of the things I miss about being home most is getting a decent meal in. I eat a lot of good salads but Im craving something exciting. Keep hoping to have time to make it to spiceland for indian buffett but havent been able to make it happen. The cool kids are getting sushi a lot and it makes me jealous lol. Probably would be easier too if I wasnt on starter pay for another 2 months, then I get a 2cpm bump.
