So here is my fun load Im currently on. Picked up in Long prairie MN, suppose to be a preloaded trailer, with a detention request approved. Taking it to north baltimore, OH. I hit Beloit on the edge of the huge snow storm and end up running i39 down and around to go through Indy and back up to keep the appointment time. I get a call before crawfordsville(i think was its name) and there was a mistake. Customer wants to add a drop for Napoleon OH first, then N. Baltimore. Napoleon is closed on Saturday so instead, customer wants me to drop 1 combo in Green Bay, WI then the rest in N. Baltimore.

Im now in oak creek, WI ready to run this truck straight to the final for Monday morning.

If the bunk heater can’t keep you warm idle, let Chad know and get your truck checked when you are next at a yard.

Generally if it’s below 0 you should idle to keep the EGR from freezing, that’s per Paul in the Fargo shop. We get paid to deliver freight safely so idle and be comfortable, getting sleep is more important than MPG.

I always keep the bunk curtain closed. I think it was just too cold and I should have idled. I will from now on. I was concerned with what policy was, but if I get sick it won't matter so...

    txtodd and Xeres63 Thank this.

Interesting, though I think it will increase traffic on surface roads as trucks try to get to the customers to deliver, but depending on the exits is could help.

Checked in at receiver today, 720am. Clean bills time stamped and signed, 818pm. Headed over to the TA to get the trailer fixed since Im drop and hooking at campbells. Next person should appreciate it.

Could probably start the campbells run now since its way behind schedule but im tired and yawning like a mofo as it is. Just happy to get off that trip # and get the trailer fixed.

Delivering in Woodburn, OR. One of my favorite places. Honestly kind of slow, but it's always Sunny when I come here, and the process to check in is straight forward and painless. Next is Pendleton to Jamestown.
