In some ways yes, in other, no. As far as treatment and respect, I whole heartedly agree. But the down side is the smaller the company, the more expensive the health insurance. When I started at Moore, I was paying more for employee/spouse insurance w/o short/long disability or accident insurance with a $6000 deductible than I was paying for my house payment. We were in the 150 truck range. Now that we are part of the big Daseke family of companies, I saved $300-350 per month including both disabilities and accident coverage with a $1500 deductible. Some single drivers are paying $0 for insurance per week.

Yeah, large companies for the win. $10 a week for premium coverage... loving it. No deductible haha

Thanks for the link. I’m going to have to get down there one day. I’ve been to the Neil Armstrong museum off of 75 in Wapakoneta. I only had about 2 hrs to spend there though. I plan to go back there one day too.

 

They have bobtail parking? Always wanted to stop in.
