So I just got off the phone with Tony, it would seem 1 of my previous employers isn't verifying my employment, so I'll have 2 weeks of training he said. So I'm pushing my orientation back to january 7th so that I can make sure I have enough money saved to cover bills and any expenses during training. I do still intend to switch to Magnum bc from what I can tell is an overall great company. Great pay package good benefits and a friendly work environment. I talked to a Magnum driver today looked around in his truck. And MAN ARE THEY NICE!!!! it even had Android Auto built into the dashboard. So much coolness. Anyways I look forward to working with you all and seeing you out on the road.

Good luck! All depends how my medical appointments go but I may have to push things back to 7 Jan also. You'll be amazed at how much easier paperwork is here! Only receipts are pretty much lumper and repairs. BTW, riding with a trainer can be a very good thing! You'll learn the Magnum way right from the start...no guessing or asking a million questions after orientation. And the half a million questions you'll have will be gladly answered by anyone here or on the mentors/trainers list you'll get from Mark. He also runs the absolute best hazmat class I've been through!

Anyone on the road over Thanksgiving and going through Clarksville TN, if you want to stop at any of the truckstops at Oak Grove KY, let me know and I'll come get you for eats, shopping, whatever. I'm 5 miles away. No sense staying in the truck unless you want to!
Bumper, G&P_Trucking, Zata40 and 1 other person Thank this. -
And as to the training, yeah it'll probably be a positive thing. Learning a new system can be difficult sometimes. Getting a jump on how ur company operates and some tips and tricks from a trainer won't hurt. So I'm actually rather excited to switch over to Magnum. I'll keep y'all updated.sc00ter Thanks this. -
