That’s cute.
You really don’t want to hear what I’ve gone through in jobs. It’s just plain bad. Downward spirals of destruction. Trying to get me to join them on their road to hell.
I’ve already worked through problems here. Like I said... Had to get radioshark to help me last night. No big deal. I lived in LA for 30 years. All one looks for is people trying. They don’t even have to succeed. Just try.

Thank for the Laugh -
I made it home this morning. Almost didn't. Fog and freezing. Wasn't quite too bad yet.
It is so nice feeling as if my home is more my home. Not that I'm planning on a bunch of home time. It's that I know it isn't a big problem. Can if I need to.
Got tractor in my driveway. Much easier here, to move stuff in and out of it. But it is a hassle. Can't park it on the street. One car driveway. So have to do the move switch to get my car out. I can see using the taxi a bunch to keep the truck at the terminal. -
Glad you made it home safely!WesternPlains Thanks this. -
When I'm asked for hub mileage on the electronic form.
What exactly should I give them?
An actual hub on the trailer. Need to write it down at start and finish? -
WesternPlains Thanks this.

Filling out a DVIR is no longer required if no defects are found.
Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance; Driver-Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR)Zata40 and WesternPlains Thank this. -
That DVIR is tied to the post inspection log. Have to log an inspection.
Sure appreciate the help. I'm doing resets on that peoplenet often enough.
I really needed this time off badly. All the burnt out from striving in my last job. All the time wasted there. Coming to Magnum burnt out. From the week and lack of sleep. Didn't sleep good at all in the hotel. Nice hotel and all. Just strange environment. (I sleep like a baby in the truck) Also from driving all Friday night. Well.... last night I couldn't sleep. Just woke up.
Right now I'm all anxious. Gotta do something. Do this. Do that. Geesh.... gotta relax. I needed this reset badly. To tell you the truth. The one thing I do need to do is to quit smoking. Then relax and do other things. Got plenty to do.
I am wondering. On this load to Rapid. Dispatch told me Saturday, it was no big deal. I'd like to know. It was paperwork just like a BOL on a LTL load. There was no official BOL. To do it right. Shouldn't I make up one of those BOL's I have with me? I have the forms. Just to show DOT or anyone in case I'm stopped?
The offer on the load electronically. I received that at noon on Friday. They didn't have it loaded for me till about 7 Friday night. By then, LTL changed the trip number. Along with the rest above I listed. Nobody around in offices to get things straight. So I took off with the load. Figured I'd just ask Dispatch on Saturday.
Dispatch told me I should have used the electronic info when I logged taking the load electronically. I used the actual correct trip number. Dispatch didn't have it. Didn't go through? She told me no big deal. It's just strictly within the company. Just make sure my paperwork I send in has all the info. Which I did with explanations on my trip sheet. Included the summary sheets of my load with trip number on them.
Any criticism? Input? What about making up my own BOL to be legal? -
The paper work they gave you should include a manifest.
WesternPlains Thanks this.
