I’m sitting in Romeoville. Do they allow overnight parking in the back lot here? Guy told me that?
I’m at the 55 truck stop. Wanted to be close to indoors. Just in case the truck doesn’t handle the cold. I got my co-driver to worry about too.
They said to put the reefer into sleep mode. I didn’t know how. Too cold to stand there and play with it. So I put it on 50 degrees. Then tonight I found it set on -10. So I changed it back. Hope that stuff doesn’t get hurt by cold. It got to 7+ before I found it. Somebody have to change it on purpose? No way it would revert to different once I set it? It’s running constantly now to warm it up.
The whole way up here today. I was telling myself: Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!.... If I had the common sense of the back end of a donkey. I’d be headed the opposite direction!

 

Miller will assign a dry van for that load, if ever on that run look by trailer shop...not the trailers on the fence...but the ones by that building 214 trailers.

 

Well sitting here in South Beloit, temp is -9 and dropping....deliver in Gaylord tomorrow and then Austin, MN to Dayton. Put anti gel in because I am not chancing it with it dropping to -26 tonight.

 

Eh... you need to find a voice stone lol. No way Im getting loaded and then burning my clock at the shop.

 

I’ll call when I get to my delivery here. Dispatch should be open by then.

Gotta day, I don’t like this system very much. Having to fight other Magnum drivers for loads just feels ... ####ty.

 

Don’t worry about me. I’ll be to CR tomorrow. Have windshield washers fixed. Then I’ll just take another Dallas load.

Seriously... this is slow time of year.

Truck came through like a champ. Delivering now. Heck of a truck.

Well you can always help your fellow Magnum drivers out by waiting...they’ll have no problem leaving the 5 stopper to Dallas for you... . You’ll get the hang of it.
