Not to be confused with "don't ever run into issues or let your truck break down". They know stuff happens. Just be honest and reliable. In the words of Stephen Covey, use your resources and initiative.

 

Getting unloaded now, made my delivery with a whole 49 minutes of drive time to spare. Then go drop the trailer at the yard and the truck at the shop.

At least my next load is both longer and gets me out of the cold. Americold in Park Rapids MN tomorrow morning to Dallas TX Monday morning.

Have a run to get me back to CR to have washers fixed.
Only 7.5 hours of driving. Took them 5.5 hours to load it. Pushed me out of regulation HOS. Stopped 42 minutes from Mankato. Took 10. Load late. Rescheduled me for this evening to deliver.
Keep having to do regens each day. From all the idling. I put $55 worth of cetane booster in 2 days ago. Even in the reefer tank. Doing ok. Was -28 last night when stopped. Night before Chicago.

They sure eat a lot in Dallas. I used to deliver 55 tons of flour there. We needs ta put dem boys on a diet.

 

On-site parking, free scale out back.

Can drop and go into town too if you need supplies.

 

And there is a small rest area on the right heading into town that is quiet and clean. The toilet facilities at the p/u spot leave a bit to be desired.

What RPM do you idle at? I bump mine up 5 presses of the button to 1150. I guess all trucks are different. I've been lucky and stayed away from those regens.
