I've had this pair for 30 plus years. Throw away the felt liners when they give out, get some upgraded ones, something like these.

Search results for 'sorel boot liner' (5 found)

Not exactly dancing shoes, btw. We're talking all day outside wear.

    Lowlite Thanks this.

Right on. Will have to snag a pair then. I like the sounds of them. Not bad for 120.

Lol I won’t even bore you with all of the cold weather crap I carry now...

I like the belaclava vs a hood too, I have one with a face mask built in. You know @Oor just stop chaining up and you can dump a lot of gear lmao...

Shoveling the driveway at home, actually. Chaining goes quick.

They have a cheaper alternative...a neighbor's kid. He mows your lawn in the summer, rakes your leaves in the fall, and shovels the snow in the winter...cheaper than having a lawn mower, leaf blower and snow thrower. It's also cheaper than having your own kid since you don't have to feed him...or his friends :laughing-guffaw:

Was browsing that refrigiwear site, they have decent looking boots too. And liners if you go pac boot.

Pac boots might be a bit clunky if you do unloading, btw. Might want something more nimble. Can't beat them for warm though.

I don't do unloading anymore. I've transferred back into line haul, that good lazy money. I'll check out their boots though. I like to balance function and style so that I can dual work and going out on a Friday night lol.

My current boots work great, but they aren't made for extreme cold, and I don't want the salt to damage them.

No shame here lol. I got my license to drive. I've had my fill of sort and seg at food warehouses, breaking down skids to deliver, and all that other jazz.
