Gotta admit. This was a good money run. Besides weather. My HOS ruined me. Only had 3 hours today. But did get two of the five drops done today. One last one tomorrow.

 

Running my donkey off! Picked up a Pepsi out of Carlisle PA to Yakima then Tumwater. Got the scoop on what happened...the plant in Ontario CA was closed and Yakima says for awhile they were getting their concentrates from England! Now it's out of Carlisle and Texas. Before that was a Michael load to Hall's Whse. I'll take that run any day! Hopefully PA starts getting smarter on their winter weather road closures. Stone Dude, another great place to stop around Bud at Ft Collins is the Petro at Johnson's Corner. Cinnamon Rolls...nuf said. So I finally out at Tumwater tomorrow, Wed morning. Matt O says to sit tight til Friday morning and he'll have a good one then. I'd msg'd him about my hours y'day and figured I'd be doing a reset but thought he could get me out Thursday. Hopefully he can point me in a good direction cuz the pilot at Tumwater sucks! Glad to see everyone is running ok. I need the break but where I can enjoy the time. Oh, yeah, gotta watch to training videos too ..Easy Money! I'll update where I'm headed later. Ain't no telling where it could be. Now, if the weather will cooperate...snoqualmie has the chain law up...

 

Everyone be careful in the storm thats rolling East. Hoping it is mild compared to the last weeks ice storm.

 

Loading Friday in Wenatchee for somewhere in Ohio. Doing a reset at the J in Ellensburg. Weather is supposed to be quiet til late Friday afternoon. Fun fun!

 

Taking a long 34 in Bismarck. I need it. Picked up some virus in Watford City. Am fighting it.

Fyi, Colorado is doing highway improvements at I-25 and 402. ( interchange north of Johnson's Corner). In the near future, they will close that interchange from 402 to I 25 north. They haven't said when. Will post when it happens.

Looks like I got a few paid days off. Truck is down. Shop said it sounds like the alternator. Takes four days for Pete to get one to a dealership. Warranty ...

 

Yep she's here! She just got out of the truck about a week ago to work. She spent 7 solid months in the truck with me. I think she came across those same videos you're talking about because she said something about that before.

 

I'm on a load that picks up in NJ with 4 drops: OH, 2x IL, SD. 3 schools and a church. Broker load.

At one of the schools (the biggest order) the students gather up and hand unload their product. They are sooooo efficient! No Lumper fees. Done in under 30 minutes. At the other 2 schools there were teachers unloading but they had a couple pallets and were quick as well.

Pretty cool load. It's different.
