Yeah, no one seems to really care about tired truckers. Its only about 80k lbs of carnage... doesnt matter if all the parking spots are taken or not, out of hours, etc. Thankfully, there are still enough truck friendly states out there.

 

Get a slip on sign cover....My 14 hours were up and I had to stop printed on it. Cover up the sign and then when he asks what that sign says you got him. LOL

 

Next time open your hood and put your orange triangles out…

 

A1C came down another .1.... to 5.9 this time. Weight has dropped to 160. OTR lifestyle agrees with me. Well... also... Chinese Buffets...hehe...

Gotta make it to Chicago by the 18th for home time. Been running pretty hard since the new year.

 

I'm picking up my Findlay OH to Minneapolis. I'm about 4 hours early and not much time left on my 14. They said I could drop the trailer and come back after my 10 hour break if I want and it'll be done. That's pretty awesome!

This is going to Minneapolis. I'm supposed to be in Chicago by Monday for home time. I forgot to call Minneapolis outbound today to drop this load there and get my following load to Chicago! It was like 1800 Eastern when I remembered. So I called, just to try anyway... And she was still in the office! Yes! I think she's pretty awesome. She owns that area. So I got my load to Chicago on Monday.

 

Findlay, OH? Is that the new Campbells distribution center? You're in my barn's neck of the woods lol.

If it is OK to ask, where do you park when you are on home time? My son usually parks at Greater I55 when he stays with me but we are on the far south side (one block from I-80) and would like to find someplace closer, also would be nice to find a place that doesn't charge by the day
