The vending machine rips you off, but it's o.k. for a company as rich as Magnum to put in coin operated laundry machines.... What's next, are they gonna start charging a deposit on empty oil and washer fluid jugs if you don't bring in your own to have filled in the shop?

Does the LTL drivers lounge still have the large assortment of snacks and food over there? It was like a small store that was on the honor system. I can’t remember if there is a change machine or not. The LTD drivers were welcome to go over there... when I was there....

 

There’s a $10k rider policy. Pays out on anything big. So it will cover the deductible for anything serious.
Or could pay for lower deductible insurance.

I was instructed to tell the mechanic which side I keep the oil and coolant. He refilled both. Put them back. This was during a PM. I never left the sleeper birth.

 

Eh, still not bad for a smaller scale company. People are obviously happy so that's a plus for you all. Seems like you guys are putting up good miles. Good to hear because some drivers were complaining that freight is down. I've seen a volume decrease in my field, but also heard rates are up?? I'd think this tariff stuff might have something to do with it? Hard to say. I just drive a truck. Either way, good to keep slaying miles, and kudos for layover increase.

 

I’ve worked for a much larger company.
Insurance choices were the usual junk.
Investment in 401k mundane.
This company has the best choices I have ever seen. I finally have the health insurance I always wanted. High deductible to just cover something big.

 

You can go into the LTL breakroom, they have salads sandwiches and other stuff takes CC or cash self checkout.
