I talked to a recruiter a few months back and was told .58 to start plus the bonus system which I think was up to 6 CPM.

    JForce28 and Jarhed1964 Thank this.

Hey guys. Hope everyone is safe. Dealing with this wildfire in WA at the moment an no it’s not from Canada. Anyway have a question for everyone. Can someone explain to me why hourly/LTL employees get 18 PTO days at the 3-5 year mark while OTR only gets 10 for the same employment period? If anyone wants to see this it’s in our benefit summary guide.

considering LTL and hourly is mostly home every night with the exception of a few how is this the set limit for them and us OTR drivers get the shaft? We are already the only company I’ve ever worked for where you don’t get a Lump sum. No one else I’ve EVER worked for did this.

if you feel this isn’t right voice it on here then send Matt Gadberry and Chad Nielson a message asking them how is this fair and or reasonable

The pay package and compensation between the two are completely different. Also not all LTL positions are hourly. For instance, if you were working linehaul out of Sioux Falls (wages vary by terminal) right now at two years time with the company, you would be at .56 cpm. No mileage bonus, but you would get ten dollars per day for fueling, and wait time would be paid at 28 per hour.

So you get paid less per mile and lose the cpm bonus you can get OTR. You also lose the ability to take extended time off without taking vacation.

In the end, they are totally different companies and jobs working in different markets with different compensation packages.

This is such a pretty blue. Great reefer company. Sadly where I lived and where they ran just wasn't working out. Have to admit the color is a lot more beautiful than my current ride. FB_IMG_1695422189982.jpg 20230801_120756.jpg

Hey man, do you still work at Magnum? I heard they stopped hiring CDL graduates in Florida, is that true?
