Magnum should have standard for trainers trucks. Chew spit running down the door.

 

That’s just nasty. No excuse for that.

 

That’s just the tip of the iceberg and I tried to communicate my frustrations with Magnum professionally but fell on deaf ears basically and I tried to tough it but the trainer was always getting lost in the bathroom

 

Yeah, my buddy saw me curled up asleep when he pulled in to fuel & get food.

I woke up & ran in to use the head. Came out, truck gone. LOL

He cracked up when I called him and asked if he was missing someone.

2x man...... We still laugh about it today.

Edit: We did come up with a system after that 2nd time.

If it makes you feel any better, i put in an application and talked to the recruiter a little bit. He said he would get back to me the week after.

This was over a month ago. Must not need drivers too badly. Although i decided to go back to a regional position so even if they did call me back i probably would’ve said i appreciate it but i decided to do something different

 

I’m relieved they let me go.

 

It was a pretty decent company when i was there 2.5 years ago. Some stuff must’ve changed since then

 

You mean the jerkoff called the company at whatever time? Did he try calling you? After 44 years of this, this industry has gone straight down the tubes. What they did to you as a new driver, is nothing short of chicken poop. Count yourself lucky, their actions speak loudly. Unless of course, there’s more to the story. In any event, go find another training company, based on what I see on a daily basis, there’s plenty of them to be had.

 

Just curious were you team driving? When I was at Magnum you were not allowed to drive without the trainer in the seat next to you but that was years ago. Training had to specifically enable team driving back then…
