Does anyone know if Rochelle Foods (Philly Mac load) is a lumper unload?

 

I came down to Rochelle from Grand Forks. Didn't see snow on the ground today until north of Madison, WI, but the farther south I drove the deeper the snow on the side of the road was getting (roads were fine). I did see one truck in the median and a minivan in the ditch around Beloit. And the Petro's lot is slick as snot on a brass doorknob.

 

I was at that Petro (actually at the Pilot across the street) earlier this spring when a tornado blew through and destroyed a town not far away... I slept right through it.... I installed a weather alert app on my phone the next day. You could see it from the truck stop....

 

Were you given just a short amount of time to make the delivery, (pick up monday night deliver wednesday morning) or did they do that to this load because of the holiday?

 

80E off of 39 in Illinois was dead stopped...ended up shutting down. If anyone is heading that way, stay safe

 

According to dispatch it's a weekly load for us with the reloads coming out of GA.

 

At exit 80 of 77. Ft Chiswell for the night. I think I'm supposed to wake up to some crap weather too.
