Colder air is denser thus more wind drag. Also Winter Blend fuel.

 

7.7 for max payout target? Is there anyone actually getting that on a regular basis? I know with my company I am rarely under 70k...best I have gotten is 7.4 and that was in the Midwest on flat terrain at 65

 

Haven't done a NC trip yet, but have been in the mid-west and to FL through TN at or about 75K and I'm still showing 7.8 mpg. The truck had 168K on the clock so it was nicely broken in when I got it.

 

The book doesn't really say we can use any location. The way it is worded it kinda sounds like the ones in the book are our only choices, and of those, they have preferred, acceptable, and avoid locations.

 

The color code should show preferred states vs non- preferred states. For example only fuel in WI in an emergency and limit it to 50 gal from what I remember.

 

On the list, there are only 2 in GA, and one is the Peelot on 285 that closed many months ago.

 

Fuel at any pilot/flying j u want just try and do it in preffered states on the back of fuel handout

 

OK, where did you get a fuel handout booklet?​

 

Yeah no kidding. I don't remember getting one of those.
