SSB did you try to call Mclaen yourself every time I called them they have unloaded me a day or 2 before my appointment time then I just shot a email saying I'm empty and can hit the starter at X time every time I have done that I have woke up to a load offer

 

Well, one consistant theme I heard before coming here was 'communication is key to success here'. I am communicating. I call, I write, I'm communicating my butt off. I do everything possible to keep in touch, and more than half of my attempts are overlooked or ignored. I mean, I can handle it if an answer to my question is 'no', but when that answer never comes....makes me feel as if I am unwanted as an employee here. Sorry for the negativity...maybe everyone is right, I will never be happy...so maybe I'll just disappear and become another obsure face in the crowd.

Just give it a chance dude. I know it's frustrating when you don't get an answer sometimes. But realize there has been a lot of staff taking time off for the holidays, having to get the other drivers home for the holidays and then back out, and a dispatcher for the biggest area leaving and having to cover that area.
Buck up!! You'll be ok!!

snackbar are we working for the same company..... I have never in the 2 years that i have been ever ever ever had 7 days to deliver a load...... i think you are full of the brown stuff in the sewer..... just saying

 

This load was sent to me on Weds 12/2
Wed last week till Tuesday this week...7 days...day 7 will have hours left after delivery, but I start my clock before 5 a.m. I'd tell you what you could do with your brown stuff...but I will refrain(but it would require a spoon and a napkin)

I know...but right now, after the last 6 crappy months at Poly, then the transition to here...we have depleted our savings cushion. My 1st 2 paychecks here (last week and next week) will be roughly a net of $8-900... I really need to knock a few weeks out of the park asap...then, comes the hospital trip for my wife...right now, my mood is lower than it has ever been. And forget Christmas...we won't even have money to buy the stuff to bake homemade cookies for gifts.
