I out did myself today, 10:53 hours driving, 635.7 miles. Hauled ### to sneak in a much needed 34 before drop Monday morning.
ncmickey Thanks this. -
Found a Lowe's. 7.5 miles north on MN47(merges with rt 10). Got a 20v cordless blower so I can clean out trailers. Now the fun part, I had to leave my only load locks on the load I am dropping here, they don't have any in the shop and the ltl dock was closed today. If they aren't open tomorrow then I have to buy some so I can pick up my load Monday in Gaylord. Plus, my Bestpass and permits didn't make it, so I have to go without hoping I get back up here by years end. Not been a busy day here. Not a lot of LTD drivers thru here today.

SSB, go check the dropped trailers on the yard there and snatch a couple...there is generally some left in those empties!
Rock6531, supersnackbar and ncmickey Thank this. -
You won't need any load locks in Gaylord. What time is your appt? They will load it on another trailer if your not there...
When you pull in go to the 'truck stop 19' and they will inspect your trailer and wash it if needed. You can put the wash on acct. Then go up to shipping near the front and get your bills/ get loaded...
When I got there last week at my appt time they already had another trailer in the door and it was 1/2 loaded already...
If my appt is late at night, I'll just go sleep out there and grab the drop trailer in the AM.... -

I am suppose to pu at 230 Monday morning. How do they secure the freight out of there. Someone said it's eggs, and it will need a washout once I get empty in San Antonio.
cerberus63 and ncmickey Thank this. -
Sitting at home in NC.. Sneaking in a 34 before I head up to Jersey on Monday. That way I'll have good hrs to run to get me back home for Christmas...
When I started with Magnum, I used to get by the house every week or two... Not as easy now with so many NC drivers here now... Just the way it is... I ain't complaining!!
Wife already has a honey do list for tomorrow.... Shoulda stopped in New Orleans instead!! Lolrunningman0661, Ordy19 and txtodd Thank this.
