Wish I could get anyone to respond to me about my next load...must be a freight shortage in the Denver area. In fact, the only thing I've gotten so far is a message from Ashley asking how much I paid for my lumper...for my delivery that delivers @ 1930 TONIGHT. Since she's leaving for the Coon Rapids job, I resisted the temptation to be a smart ### and just told her I wish I knew since I don't deliver until after they're in their nice warm living rooms. I just hope they didn't under authorize a check like the load to College Park or else whomever has the after hours duty will be cutting me another check.

 

More thank likely you'll be taking a beer load out if fort Collins to Bismarck. Did you call Matt?

 

I'd call Matt a time or 4 before they leave for the day... And If you need more money on the Tcheck.. After hours will get it... They are usually pretty good about getting the right amount.... But I've had to bug Afterhours a time or two... Oh well....that's why they make the big money

Got reworked and down to the Loves in Marion NC on I40... Got one of 2 open spots... Had almost 2 hrs left to drive... But that would leave me in the Mountians... And you know that TA or Pilot west of Asheville are full already...
No rush anyways... Maybe fit a reset in again... Won't complain though... Got 3300+ miles since last Thursday And got a reset in...

 

Yup... Or Ft Collins to Williston, or Minot, or Dickinson... Lol I've done all of the above

 

Working on something he said. I'm guessing that the deliveries will roll into Monday since most distributors are most likely not open on Sunday, not the most productive weekend, but I have 2800ish for the week counting my Monday morning delivery, so if I gotta reset, then I will. Matt doesn't seem like he is in a very good mood most of the time...is that just his personality, or is he pissed at me?

i think it's just his personality. Once he gets to know you some and that you aren't a whiney driver, he gives ya good loads... he likes drivers that don't complain about going to NJ... Hahahaha

 

No beer. Pick up in Greeley, CO... MONDAY....headed to Sunfield, MI for Wednesday...+2 days layover. 1200 miles, now I just have to find a parking spot in the Denver area after delivering at 19:30. Guess I'll have to call ahead and reserve one at the T/A

 

Always a good plan that...I like that TA, you can cab it over to the mall if you're looking for something to do...

 

I'll stay there tonite in a paid spot, then hussle up to Johnsons Corner Petro maybe tomorrow a.m. I wonder if the Petro changed everything in the place, they use to have cheap laundry machines there.
