Only if you have multiples. I believe the rate is $30 for each unload after the first. you will get some, but mostly that's the LTD guys doing local. It works out to about the ame money as doing one run, but the devil is always in the details of delays.

(Quote:Begin) I just finished The Kind Worth Killing. Very good suspense novel. I couldn't put it down. Audio book, The Good Nurse about a psychopath, alcoholic, suicidal nurse that killed over 300 people. It's a true story. (End:Quote

I'm from Jersey and I remember that case. "Up to 300 killed" was just to sell books and tv.. I think it was closer to 40

    Wow....
Mine does the same thing occasionally. Not every time. Just once in a while...
Going up a hill, 10th gear, slowing down... I usually shift around 1200-1300. Slide shifter to neutral, rev to 1600 slip into 9th, hit the fuel and the truck shakes like you are running over a washboard... Take foot off fuel, push fuel again and it's gone....
If I let it get below 1200 before I shift, I get a vibration like I am running on the zipper strip on the shoulder. Not near as bad as that but a vibration that feels like that but milder....
Glad to know it's just not me!

I just get the wastegate popping off at various times. Scares the crap out of you because it doesen't do it every time under identical circumstances. And some days it does it a lot, other days it doesn't do it at all.

On my way across IA earlier this week, I couldn't get the boost over 20 psi, stopped for fuel, then the boost hit 40 psi. Frankly, it worries me a bit that these engines are so quirky...makes me wonder how reliable they're gonna be in 100k...coming from a company with continous truck issues, I had hoped I had put that behind me when I retired from driving an International.

Being an old crusty 18 speed lover of many years and now driving my first auto box, you couldn't give me a manual back. I'm not at Magnum, just like the banter of this thread and have followed the trials and tribulations of supersnackbar for a while, beats any soap opera.

Interesting perspective, did you float or double clutch? Why don't you miss the 18 spd?
