Yippee! Let me brag on Nick! So I called him this morning while unloading in Sturtevant & politely pointed out I could be back in Fargo tomorrow & wasn't thrilled about having to endure the super cold all weekend waiting to unload. He really took care of me & is letting me drop the trailer at the terminal & I load at 5pm in Jamestown headed to Texas! Thanks Nick! And thanks to all of you who have repeatedly preached "communication", and for all the other support, including my trainer Darrell.

2 out of 5 newbies make it a year. Can't stand being away from home or the lifestyle usually. OTR wasn't what they thought it would be and it ain't for everybody anyway.

 

You were right...didn't look that hard on Google Maps, but when I got here I got weak in the knees! But, got it in with only one pullup! (That thumping you hear is me patting myself on the back!)

 

LOL Gotta love these southern boys! Run TxTodd, Run!! I lived in Plano TX back in the 90's and I remember the outright fear on the face of my neighbor because his swimming pool might freeze, it was dropping ALL the way down to 31F.

 

Yep. That's what I was told.

 

Born n raised in Plano. Now I'm in Allen. Yea 31 is borderline panic there. Running up to Fargo each week, I get home and wear shorts and a sweatshirt down to 40 degrees with all the northern transplants in the area.

I'll be home tonight but couldn't help but notice the lows in Fargo tonight through Sunday night. In the ballpark of -22. Next time someone in Dallas posts a pic of their car thermometer reading "28" degrees on Facebook I'm going to think "##### please!"

 

Well, have to tell the bad with the good... swayed just a bit pulling out of that tight opening, & caught the opened trailer door on the opening & broke 3 hinges on the trailer door. Roadside repair is here now fixing it. No more bragging for me!
